A lovely bright, sunny morning. An ancient monument and a group of nice people to paint with. Who could ask for more?
Old Sarum turned out to be an excellent site with potential paintings in whichever direction of the Compass you cared to gaze.
No wonder Constable and Turner did such fantastic work here.
